Vanaprastha is a concentrated meditation on the ancient Himalayan forest — grounding, contemplative, and deeply earthy. Bhimseni Camphor forms the aromatic backbone, layered with Cedarwood bark (Devdar), Vetiver root (Khas), Talispatta (Indian Silver Fir), Nagar Motha, Sweet Flag (Bach), Juniper Berry (Howber), Rosemary, dried Lemongrass, dried Ginger root (Sonth), and Cedarwood base oil. Bhimseni camphor’s clean, piney sharpness amplifies the natural camphoraceous quality of Talispatta and Howber, creating an accord that recalls the interior of a high-altitude fir forest after rain. Cedarwood bark and Vetiver root anchor the blend deep into the earth, while Sweet Flag and Ginger add a warm, slightly medicinal undercurrent that keeps the composition alive. Lemongrass and Rosemary thread a fine green brightness through the canopy, preventing the blend from becoming too dark or dense. Cedarwood oil acts as a fixative, tying the composition together and extending the slow crystal release of Bhimseni camphor.
